Tech Specs

At Titanic Guitars, we are deeply committed to providing a superior experience to every individual who receives one of our finely crafted instruments. We understand the paramount importance of preserving the integrity and performance of wooden instruments, which is why we proudly offer Boveda products through our online accessories store.

Without proper humidity control, wood instruments will not perform at their maximum ability and, even worse, can be damaged. To maintain their shape, wooden instruments need to be stored at a stable 45-55% RH (relative humidity). Wide fluctuations in humidity will cause the wood to expand or shrink, which puts stress on the instrument and degrades its performance abilities.

Ensuring that your guitar arrives in pristine condition and remains so throughout its lifetime is of utmost importance to us. With Boveda's patented 2-way humidity control system included in every case or bag, you can trust that your instrument will be shielded from the detrimental effects of fluctuating humidity levels.

Our dedication to quality extends beyond the initial purchase. Through our online accessories store, we empower musicians to continue caring for their instruments with the same level of excellence that Titanic Guitars embodies. By offering humidity control products by Boveda, we enable musicians to maintain the optimal humidity levels required to safeguard their instruments' longevity and performance.

With Titanic Guitars and Boveda, you can rest assured that your instrument is in capable hands. Experience the difference of superior craftsmanship and comprehensive care by exploring our online accessories store today.

TITANIC FAQ

  • What is the warranty on my guitar?
Titanic guitars are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, to the original purchaser, for 3 years.
Limited Warranty does not cover the following: normal wear and tear or any damage resulting from misuse, abuse, or unauthorized modifications,
damages from self-made repairs, inappropriate maintenance, accidents, exposure to adverse temperature and/or humidity.
The customer is responsible for all shipping costs in event of warranty issues.

  • Is the limited warranty transferable?
The limited warranty is for the original purchaser only.

  • How long does the warranty last?
The limited Warranty is for 3 years from the date of purchase.

  • What is covered by the warranty ?
What is the age of my guitar:

The age and origin of your guitar can be found on the internal label in your instrument, or on the website.
The specifications of your guitar can be found on each product page.

  • How do I adjust the truss rod of my guitar?
Inappropriate truss rod adjustments can cause structural problems and we recommend you contact a luthier or guitar technician unless you are familiar
    with this operation.
Our guitars are fitted with a 2-way truss and supplied with the appropriate Allen wrench.

  • How do I clean my guitar?
Use a branded proprietary guitar polish of your choice and follow the directions. For cleaning the fingerboard use a branded proprietary oil of your choice and follow the directions.

  • What conditions should I store my guitar in?
Most environments require some help to maintain appropriate storage conditions.
We recommend you use a Bovida humidifier in order to stabilize the humidity of your guitar.
Most cracks and lifting bridges are the result of inadequate humidity. Storing your instrument in a low-humidity environment can cause the wood to shrink and distort, potentially cracking and causing other problems. It's necessary to know the humidity where you store your instrument. We recommend 50-55%.

  • What gauge of strings should I use on my guitar?
Our guitars are factory-fitted with Daddario 12-53 strings. Your string brand of choice will be fine however we do not recommend fitting gauges heavier than 12-53.
Factory specifications for string height (measures top of fret to bottom of string):
    Bass-side string height at 12th fret: 3.5mm.
    Treble-side string height at 12th fret: 2.5mm
